Ottawa Office Staff
Paul Heidebrecht is the Director of the Ottawa Office. He has also served in short-term assignments with MCC in Bangladesh and Nigeria, and has worked as a mechanical engineer and university lecturer. Paul is a graduate of Marquette University, Associated Mennonite Biblical Seminary, and the University of Waterloo.
Stefan Cherry is a Policy Analyst in the Ottawa Office, in addition to his role as pastor of the Village, a new multicultural Mennonite church in Ottawa. He has also served with MCC in Mozambique and the Peace Corps in Cameroon. Stefan is a graduate of Tyndale Seminary and Cornell University.
Esther Epp-Tiessen is a Policy Analyst for the Ottawa Office, in addition to her role as Peace Ministries Coordinator for MCC Canada in Winnipeg. She has also served with MCC in the Philippines, Ontario, and Jerusalem, and has worked as a pastor, researcher, and writer. Esther is a graduate of the University of Manitoba and the University of Winnipeg.
Monica Scheifele is the Administrative Assistant in the Ottawa Office. She has also served with MCC and Ten Thousand Villages in Petitcodiac, New Brunswick. Monica is a graduate of Canadian Mennonite Bible College and the University of Waterloo.
